Why he doesn't kill old fart will return again

At least in the novel, that was not possible. He is level 3, old fart level 6. It would be damn hard to kill even hurt him. In the novel each level represented quite high multiplier on levelling up each level and same for defense.

Also, old guy only has 3 years and no possibility for any more takeovers. If he doesn't break through in that time, he is done for. And originally he was scared he couldn't level up in 30 years he gained when he got younger.
